Empowering Mature Minds To Soar
As a natural part of aging, changes in our brain can affect our thinking skills. We may not be able to remember words and names as well, find it harder to pay attention and challenging to reason and perform complex tasks.
Despite the changes that come with age, research shows that keeping our minds active can preserve our brain health and abilities to think.
CogniBlocks For Seniors is a programme for senior citizens built around exercising the skills required to help maintain a higher level of cognitive health.
Participants use plastic building blocks to solve various challenges and tasks by memorising, copying, building, stacking, manipulating and creating various shapes, patterns and objects as well as playing games and interacting and socialising.

We are born with approx 1 billion neurons but we lose them with aging. We can however, retain and strengthen them through mental exercise and stimulation.
